The Angel Towel, woven for us by Ekelund Weavers of Sweden, is made from organic cotton and is inspired by Laurie’s visit to St. Brigid’s Well, a sacred site in Kinnekulle, Sweden where water flows out from giant moss covered boulders in a secret forest. The angel images were taken from carvings in the old stone floor of the ancient Husaby Church nearby. They hold St. Brigid’s Cross which was traditionally made from woven wheat.
