Gudrun Sjödén - A Colorful Universe at American Swedish Institute

Swedish fashion designer Gudrun Sjödén's "A Colorful Universe" premiers at the American Swedish Institute on July 26 and runs through October 28. 

Known for her vibrant and colorful designs, Gudrun draws inspiration from nature, Swedish folklife, and her travels. For this reason, her work strikes a special chord with us and we have been longtime admirers of Gudrun and her work. We are excited to be a part of the preparations for this exhibition in which visitors will learn about Gudrun's creative process and journey to become one of Sweden's most famous designers. 

Gudrun and her team will be in Minneapolis for the exhibition launch and First Look Party on Thursday, July 26. The evening will include in-gallery talks by Gudrun's team and a fashion show to preview her new fall collection. Laurie is excited to be participating in the fashion show alongside a group of fabulous women from the Twin Cities.
